On the news front, the yield on the US two-year Treasury bond has risen to 4.11%, the highest level since February 2025; and the yield on the US 10-year Treasury bond has risen to 4.663%, the highest level since January 2025. Rising yields, high inflation, and persistently high oil prices are weakening investors' willingness to invest. In addition, the interest rate swap market indicates that the probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by the end of 2026 exceeds 80%.
