The China Mobile Shanghai Company held a World Telecommunication Day themed launch event in Shanghai on May 17th, where four core achievements were announced: the commercial use of the 5G-A super uplink network, the implementation of the Digital Enterprise Plan, the upgrade of citizen services through the "AI Smart Shanghai Lifestyle" program, and the unveiling of the Shanghai Communication Industry Data Innovation Laboratory. Through advancements in network, industry, citizen services, and data, Shanghai aims to comprehensively enhance its intelligence capabilities and support the construction of Shanghai as an international digital city. Shanghai Mobile also launched an upgrade plan for the "AI Smart Shanghai Lifestyle", building a integrated citizen service system of sky, earth, and people: introducing the "SkyNet + Beidou" dual-star communication system, enabling direct connection to satellites via mobile phones; advancing the construction of family-wide 10-gigabit fiber optic networks to deliver unparalleled download and upload speeds; releasing products such as super mobile Wi-Fi, dual Vivid colorful audio-visual, AI intelligent sports watching, and smart home screens for the public, as well as accelerating the integration of physical intelligence and Token inclusive services into households. In public and office environments, Shanghai Mobile introduced Token universal services, enabling "one number for all, cross-platform use, and fee payment." They also partnered with Tencent to launch an AI native workspace, allowing citizens and small businesses to easily access AI capabilities through a low-cost and convenient model - 1 yuan for 400,000 Tokens, offering a standardized price and model selection, with support for bill payments through telecommunication charges.
