Recently, Fox News anchor Brett Baier took to the streets of Beijing to experience "daily life in China": playing table tennis with elderly men in Chaoyang Park, tasting coffee made by robots, and purchasing sausages from a "robotic salesperson" in English. After the related videos were posted on the official Fox channel and Baier's personal social media accounts, they received a high number of views. However, in another video, Baier claimed, "Our driver parked illegally for only 2 minutes and got a ticket for about $40!" He also deliberately emphasized that Beijing is "filled with cameras everywhere." Videos posted on social media showed Baier standing in the middle of a non-motorized lane in Beijing with traffic flowing around him, causing a significant disruption to normal traffic order as many electric bikes and bicycles had to detour. In response to Baier's contradictory narrative, foreign internet users were not convinced. In a political news satire show called "Breakthrough Point," host Kristen Baud openly criticized Baier's double standards on the show on the 15th, saying, "For people who value the law and order, shouldn't they be happy? If American tech companies could do the same, they would celebrate this 'efficiency miracle'."
