Ministry of Water Resources: Flooding exceeding warning levels reported in 15 rivers nationwide.

Journalists learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that, affected by rainfall, from 8:00 on May 16 to 8:00 on May 17, 15 rivers including the Zhangshui River, a tributary of the Gan River in Jiangxi, the Deng River, a tributary of the Yuan River in Hunan, the Tang River and Yijia River, tributaries of the Yangtze River in Chongqing, the Shiliang River, a tributary of the Wu River in Guizhou, the Gubin River, a tributary of the Liujang River in Guizhou, the Zhu'er River, a tributary of the Yu River in Guangxi, the Beilun River, a tributary of the Gui Nan River in Guangxi, and the Wangjia River, a tributary of the Wei River in Shaanxi, experienced flooding exceeding the warning level, with the largest exceedance being 1.92 meters. At present, most of the above rivers have receded below the warning level.
