On May 16, 2026, the "Guangzhou Optoelectronics Intelligent Body and AI Hyperspectral Industry Alliance Conference" and the "AI+ Innovation Technology and Industrial Development" Summit Forum were held in Haizhu District, Guangzhou. At this conference, the "Haizhu Optoelectronics Intelligent Body and Spectral Industry Algorithm Competition" was launched to seek top algorithm talent globally and promote the commercialization of spectral application algorithms. At the signing ceremony, Sanmei Investment and Guangxin Technology reached a cooperation agreement on a million-level project and explicitly stated that the industrial base will be located in Haizhu. Since 2021, Haizhu District has been the first in the city to establish the urban industrial development path of "headquarters + research and development + core manufacturing." Since 2024, Haizhu District has introduced eight major support measures including innovation development, technical breakthroughs, brand cultivation, production optimization, and AI empowerment. In 2025, the Haizhu District intelligent manufacturing system integration service industry cluster, built around the back channel, has entered the national level, with a total output value exceeding 17.4 billion yuan.
