South Korean manufacturers of anhydrous hydrofluoric acid such as Solbrain, ENF Technology, and Huseong are expected to significantly increase product prices in June and July. Their main customers include semiconductor companies such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Due to the disruption in shipping through the Hormuz Strait, more than 30% of global sulfur supplies have been interrupted. As a result, the price of sulfuric acid has increased significantly, leading to a rise in the price of anhydrous hydrofluoric acid, which has increased by about 40% since the beginning of the year.
