Former British Deputy Prime Minister Reyna said that no agreement has been reached on challenging Stammer and Burnham.
Angela Rayner stated that she has not reached any agreement on challenging Prime Minister Keir Starmer with Andy Burnham. She said she will not provoke the Prime Minister and hopes to "unite the entire party". Rayner and Burnham are seen as potential challengers to Starmer's leadership. The UK tax authority has determined that former Deputy Prime Minister Rayner did not intentionally or negligently fail to pay stamp duty of 40,000 related to the purchase of a second home, and did not pay any fines for tax investigations.
