Starting in 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation will carry out a two-year special operation called "Power Battery Quality Strong Chain," aiming to improve the safety and quality of batteries for new energy vehicles by constructing a comprehensive standard system throughout the entire lifecycle. In this special operation, the State Administration for Market Regulation has formulated the "Power Battery Safety and Quality Improvement Standard System," covering six major sectors including basic universal standards, material components, manufacturing testing, etc., achieving full coverage from the "laboratory" to the "highway." In addition, the State Administration for Market Regulation has also formulated and implemented the first "Technical Specifications for Power Battery Defect Investigation and Recall," and successfully completed the testing and evaluation of equipment for rapid online CT scanning of power batteries and automated testing of cell performance, with multiple indicators reaching international advanced levels.
