Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, Xuan Changneng, attends the meeting of the President of the Bank for International Settlements.

On May 10th and 11th, 2026, the Deputy Governor of the People's Bank of China, Xuan Changneng, attended the Board of Governors meeting of the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland. During the meeting, central bank governors discussed topics such as the global economic and financial situation, the transmission effects of oil price shocks, monetary policy regulation, and the risks and challenges faced by emerging market economies. Deputy Governor Xuan Changneng also met with some representatives of central banks present at the meeting to exchange views on mutual concerns.
