Softbank Group is scheduled to announce its fourth quarter performance on Wednesday. According to Visible Alpha's survey of analysts, the net profit for the three months ending in March is expected to decrease by 64%, to 187.8 billion yen. In comparison, the net profit for the same period last year was 517.2 billion yen. Driven by expectations of continuous growth in demand for artificial intelligence, the company's stock price has increased by 31% so far this year as of Monday. Prior to this, the stock had risen by 92% in 2025.
