European major stock indexes closed mixed.

The European Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.11%, the UK's FTSE 100 index rose by 0.36%; Germany's DAX index rose by 0.07%, France's CAC 40 index fell by 0.76%, and Spain's IBEX index fell by 0.17%.
