Data released by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce on the 5th showed that during this year's May Day holiday, the passenger flow in 60 key commercial districts in Beijing reached 43.7 million, an increase of 1.5% compared to the same period last year; the consumption amount was 11.18 billion yuan, an increase of 2.9% year-on-year. The 127 key monitored enterprises under the bureau achieved sales of 5.18 billion yuan. Among them, the department store format increased by 7.3% year-on-year, and the catering format increased by 4.6%.
