The People's Government of Haoba Town, Yunlian County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, released a situation report on the 4th. At around 11 am on May 3rd, a slope collapsed at Haoba Village along G246 National Road in the town, resulting in 2 people being trapped and missing. Currently, the 2 trapped and missing individuals have been found, and it has been confirmed that they have no signs of life. According to the report, after the incident, the local Party committee and government immediately initiated emergency response and carried out rescue operations with full force. Currently, work is being carried out in an orderly manner, including handling the aftermath of the deceased individuals, inspecting hidden risks, and investigating the causes of the incident.
