According to a report from Iran's Fars News Agency on the 3rd, a super tanker belonging to Iran's National Oil Tanker Company broke through the monitoring blockade of the "foreign naval fleet". The tanker was carrying over 1.9 million barrels of crude oil. The report stated that this demonstrates Iran's shipping strategy in managing the energy supply chain and evading monitoring by the US Navy, as well as proving Iran's practical ability to secure energy transport. Recently, Iran and the US have been in confrontation over oil transportation in the Strait of Hormuz, with the US seizing Iranian-affiliated oil tankers. According to the US Department of Defense, the US Navy intercepted and boarded two oil tankers "transporting oil from Iran" in the Indian Ocean on April 20th and April 22nd.
