On May 1st, according to the work deployment of Zhang Chengzhong, Deputy Commander of the National Defense General Staff and Minister of the Emergency Management Department, the Office of the National Defense General Staff and the Emergency Management Department organized meteorology, water conservancy, natural resources departments, and others to consult and analyze the flood prevention situation in the southern region during the May Day holiday, dispatch key provinces such as Guangxi, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Fujian, and Guizhou, and research and deploy flood prevention and response work.
