According to the Ministry of Transport, on April 30, 2026, the total inter-regional passenger flow in the whole society was 220.748 million person-times, an increase of 30.4% compared to the previous period and an increase of 3.5% year-on-year. Among them, railway passenger volume was 19.79 million person-times, an increase of 42.1% compared to the previous period and an increase of 8.0% year-on-year. Road passenger flow was 197.70 million person-times, an increase of 29.6% compared to the previous period and an increase of 3.1% year-on-year. Among them, the commercial passenger volume of road was 36.20 million person-times, an increase of 11.1% compared to the previous period and an increase of 1.3% year-on-year; the non-commercial small passenger car travel volume on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 161.50 million person-times, an increase of 34.6% compared to the previous period and an increase of 3.5% year-on-year. Water passenger volume was 87.8 million person-times, an increase of 35.1% compared to the previous period and an increase of 6.0% year-on-year. Civil aviation passenger volume was 238.0 million person-times, an increase of 7.8% compared to the previous period and an increase of 1.5% year-on-year. The national postal industry handled 521 million parcels, a decrease of 5.6% compared to the previous period; delivered 573 million parcels, a decrease of 1.5% compared to the previous period.
