Shanghai signs the first labor rules agreement covering the entire city's express delivery industry.
On April 30th, Shanghai signed the first labor rules agreement covering the entire express delivery industry in the city. The agreement was reached through equal negotiation between representatives of express delivery industry workers and representatives of enterprises, focusing on four core issues: income protection, rights protection, labor protection, and care and support. The agreement stipulates that the minimum monthly wage for express delivery personnel shall not be less than 110% of the city's minimum wage, and that the proportion of each delivery fee directly reaching the delivery personnel shall not be less than 25% of the fee they are entitled to. In addition, the agreement also requires express delivery companies to sign labor contracts with express delivery personnel who have established labor relations, guaranteeing their rights to rest and vacation, and providing labor protection equipment, among other things.
