China National Offshore Wind Power Shuyang 1 million kilowatt offshore wind power project phase I started construction.

On April 30th, the first phase of the major energy project in Jiangsu Province, the Guoneng Longyuan Sheyang 1 million kilowatt offshore wind power project, officially started construction. The Guoneng Longyuan Sheyang 1 million kilowatt offshore wind power project is located in the southeast sea area of the mouth of Sheyang River, radiating from the northernmost tip of the sandbank. The central point of the site is about 65 kilometers offshore, including three sites in the southern area of Sheyang Offshore, with a total of 118 8.5MW wind turbines and a planned total installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts. The first phase of the project started on that day includes the installation of 35 8.5MW Far East Energy wind turbines, along with the construction of a new 220kV offshore booster station and a 220kV onshore control center.
