Tesla disclosed the total compensation for the year 2025 in a regulatory filing on April 30. Over the past six months, more than 75% of voting shares supported the massive stock award for the CEO. Despite the shocking number, the company also included some important clarifications when disclosing it. Tesla stated in the filing that there may be "significant differences" between the Musk compensation total reported in specific years and the "actual realized value."
