A traffic accident in central Sudan resulted in the death of 14 people.

Sudanese police issued a statement on April 30, saying that a traffic accident occurred in the central Jezeera state, resulting in 14 deaths and 16 injuries. The statement mentioned that in the afternoon of that day, a small public bus broke down near the city of Hilay, in the eastern part of Jezeera state, and collided with an oncoming long-distance bus. After the incident, traffic police quickly arrived at the scene to handle the situation and send the injured to the hospital.
