China accelerates the layout of quantum computing, capital flows into quantum technology.

As a key area leading the new round of technological revolution and industrial change, quantum technology includes several major fields such as quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum measurement. Among them, quantum computing, which utilizes quantum technology to obtain greater computing power, is considered the most disruptive and challenging direction. It is reported that in China, the hardware, software, and cloud services for quantum computing are accelerating their layout and collaborative research efforts, aiming to solve practical problems with quantum computing as soon as possible. Since the beginning of this year, many domestic companies in the field of quantum technology have announced significant financing, with nearly 10 cases of financing exceeding one billion yuan. Currently, capital is flowing into the quantum technology field at an accelerated pace. Market institutions estimate that in the first quarter of this year, the total amount of financing related to quantum technology in China has exceeded the total amount for the whole year of 2025.
