Notice from the General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province on the issuance of the Measures for the Supervision and Management of Trading Places in Guangdong Province, it is mentioned that newly established trading places must be approved by the provincial People's Government according to the prescribed procedures. If approval from the state is required, the provincial supervisory department shall submit it to the provincial People's Government for approval according to the procedures. Without the approval of the provincial People's Government, no unit or individual shall establish trading places as defined in these measures, and shall not organize trading and related activities in any form. Before the completion of the province-wide clean-up and rectification of various trading places, new trading places shall not be established in principle. If it is deemed necessary to establish a new trading place, the provincial People's Government shall solicit the opinion of the inter-ministerial joint meeting for the clean-up and rectification of various trading places and approve it according to the regulations.
