China Merchants Bank (03968.HK): Wang Liang resigns as executive director, president and other positions.

The Smart Finance and Economics APP has announced that China Merchants Bank (03968.HK) has released a notice stating that the board of directors has received the resignation letter of Mr. Wang Liang, the company's executive director and CEO. Due to age reasons, Mr. Wang Liang has requested to resign from his positions as executive director, member of the board's Strategic and Sustainable Development Committee, member of the board's Nomination Committee, CEO, and authorized representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Mr. Wang Liang's resignation will be effective from April 30, 2026.
