Minhang District, Shanghai: Strive to achieve a clean and efficient power generation equipment industry scale of 65 billion yuan by 2030 in the whole district.

On April 30th, the Minhang District People's Government of Shanghai issued the "Minhang District Plan for the High-Quality Development of Advanced Energy Equipment and Green Low-Carbon Industries in the '15th Five-Year Plan'". It proposes to accelerate the enhancement of advantages in the field of clean and efficient power generation equipment. Around directions such as clean decarbonization, safety and reliability, efficient regulation, and intelligent operation, efforts will be made to increase the innovation and engineering application of deep peak shaving and fast load shifting intelligent control technology, promote the low-carbon fuel co-firing of existing units, and improve the clean decarbonization technology level of units. A comprehensive solution for the transformation of coal-fired power generation to clean energy will be constructed, integrating equipment suppliers, engineering service providers, and system solution providers related to coal-fired deep peak shaving and zero-carbon fuel co-firing, forming a complete industry chain ecosystem of "clean transformation + intelligent control + low-carbon coupling". Focus will be on the research and development of key equipment manufacturing, advancing coal power technology development, striving for the total industrial scale of clean and efficient power generation equipment in the entire district to reach 65 billion yuan by the year 2030.
