The PLA Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army organized war readiness patrols in the territorial waters, airspace, and surrounding areas of Huangyan Island, China.

On April 30th, the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army organized naval and air forces to conduct combat readiness patrols in the waters and airspace around China's Huangyan Island. Huangyan Island is China's inherent territory. Since April, the forces in the theater have continuously strengthened patrols and vigilance in the waters and airspace around Huangyan Island, effectively responding to various infringements and provocations, resolutely defending national sovereignty and security, and firmly maintaining peace and stability in the South China Sea region.
