Media quoted sources as saying that in the H-share placement of Ningde Times, more than 150 institutions including Norway's sovereign wealth fund Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) and Hillhouse Investment participated in the subscription, including hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, and existing shareholders.
