The Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Macao signed a cooperation arrangement to enhance aviation safety and efficiency.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Macau signed four cooperation arrangements at the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong today. These arrangements include the "Cooperation Arrangement on Mutual Acceptance of Type Certificates", the "Cooperation Arrangement on Type Certification of C929 Aircraft", the "Joint Maintenance Management Cooperation Arrangement", and the "Cooperation Arrangement on Airworthiness Management for Aviation Fuels and Chemicals". It is reported that the new cooperation arrangements will further expand the scope of mutual recognition, covering aircraft type certification, approval of aviation fuel and chemicals, and extending to overseas aircraft maintenance and training organizations approved by the relevant authorities in the three regions. In terms of the "Cooperation Arrangement on Type Certification of C929 Aircraft", the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong will continue its cooperation in type certification of the C919 aircraft, sending personnel to participate in the certification work of the C929 aircraft, making positive contributions to the development of national aviation.
