Three departments launch "Sword light 2026" marine off-season fishing ban enforcement campaign.

At 12:00 on May 1st, China's four major sea areas will enter the closed fishing season. Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security, and the China Coast Guard jointly launched the "Sword 2026" marine closed fishing law enforcement operation in Dalian, Liaoning Province. The closed fishing season areas include the Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea, East China Sea, and the South China Sea north of 12 degrees north latitude, lasting for three and a half to four and a half months, during which nearly 120,000 marine fishing vessels and fishing support vessels nationwide will return to port for the closed fishing season.
