New achievement +1! "Wukong" reveals the key mechanism of cosmic ray acceleration.

The "Wukong" dark matter particle detection satellite has been operating in orbit smoothly for over 10 years since its launch at the end of 2015. Based on the vast amount of detection data from this satellite, a research team led by the Purple Mountain Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has recently achieved new results, discovering for the first time the charge-dependent law of the cosmic ray acceleration energy limit, which is of great significance in unraveling the mystery of the origin of cosmic rays. The relevant results were published on April 29 in the international academic journal "Nature".
