The profits of the non-ferrous metal industry increased significantly in the first quarter.

Journalists learned at a press conference hosted by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association on April 29th that in the first quarter, a total of 12,325 large-scale nonferrous metal industry enterprises achieved a total profit of 192.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 110.7%. Among them, the non-ferrous ore mining and dressing industry achieved a profit of 50.87 billion yuan, an increase of 95.5% year-on-year; the smelting and processing industry achieved a profit of 141.98 billion yuan, an increase of 116.7% year-on-year.
