The store manager told reporters that they expect to have over 200 cars picked up or returned daily during the May Day holiday this year. It is understood that, in the upcoming May Day holiday, in addition to the domestic market, the overseas self-driving tourism market is also booming. A spokesperson for an overseas car rental platform stated that the number of Chinese tourists going overseas for self-driving tours during this year's May Day holiday is expected to increase by about 16% compared to last year. Since April, orders from Chinese tourists for new energy vehicle models have increased by about 30%.
