Tencent released an open-source mobile offline translation model, only 0.4GB.

On April 29th, Tencent's Hy-MT1.5-1.8B-1.25bit offline translation model for mobile phones was announced as open source. This model compresses the large translation model that supports 33 languages to 440MB, allowing it to run directly on mobile phones without the need for internet connection. The translation quality is said to be superior to Google Translate.
