Analysts at BNP Paribas Bank stated in a research report that regardless of how the situation develops in the Middle East conflict in the coming days or weeks, it will have a lasting impact on the global economy. The bank currently predicts that global GDP growth will be lower, inflation will be higher, and central bank stances will be more hawkish compared to earlier forecasts. However, they point out that the strong growth momentum before the conflict, as well as structural factors such as artificial intelligence and defense spending, may provide support. BNP Paribas Bank predicts that the US GDP will grow by 2.4% in 2026 while the Eurozone economy may see growth of 1%.
