The natural gas production in the Chuanyu Exploration Area of Daqing Oilfield exceeded 5 billion cubic meters.

On April 27th, it was reported that the Chuanyu Exploration Area in Daqing Oilfield has exceeded the milestone of 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas production. The daily gas production has stabilized at 5.7 million cubic meters, injecting strong momentum into the national energy security. Since 2018, Daqing Oilfield has been deeply cultivating the Chuanyu Exploration Area, adhering to the integrated path of exploration and development. It has successively built the pilot test area in the Heshen 4 Block, the Maokou Formation production capacity construction project, and the Wusheng purification plant. The daily natural gas production capacity has jumped from 600,000 cubic meters to 5.7 million cubic meters, accelerating towards the ambitious goal of annual gas production of 2 billion cubic meters.
