According to Southern Daily News, on the morning of April 27, Huang Kunming, Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, presided over a video conference in Guangzhou to coordinate development and security. He reiterated the need to redeploy, promote and implement economic tasks for the second quarter and safety precautions for the upcoming "May Day" holiday. Huang Kunming emphasized the need to tap into the potential and space of counties and the ocean, and to vigorously implement the "High-Quality Development Project for Hundreds of Counties, Thousands of Towns, and Ten Thousand Villages." This includes implementing targeted measures at the county level to strengthen industrial cultivation and integration, upgrading the quality of agricultural, cultural, and tourism integration, and promoting the development of town and village clusters. He also stressed the acceleration of the development of the marine economy by strengthening and expanding modern marine ranches, offshore wind power, and other marine industries, in order to explore new spaces and cultivate new driving forces.
