Meituan's Xiaoxiang supermarket tightens self-pickup service, customer service response: services temporarily suspended in some cities.
Recently, consumers in many areas have reported that they are unable to choose self-pickup service when ordering from Meituan Xiaoxiang Supermarket, with a pop-up window indicating that the corresponding site is undergoing service upgrades. In response to this, on April 27, Xiaoxiang Supermarket customer service stated that in order to optimize the delivery service experience, the platform has fully upgraded its delivery system and will now concentrate resources on providing users with faster and more stable delivery services. Therefore, self-pickup services in some cities will be temporarily suspended. However, customer service did not specify which cities are affected by this suspension.
