National Energy Administration: Further promote the expansion and improvement of charging facilities around the application scenarios such as charging for heavy duty trucks.

The State Energy Administration held its quarterly routine press conference on April 27th. Deputy Director of the Electricity Department, Liu Mingyang, stated, "With the 'May Day' holiday approaching, we will guide local authorities to update existing old charging facilities, increase the allocation of temporary charging equipment, deploy additional on-duty staff, advance equipment maintenance, and use information platforms to strengthen monitoring to ensure orderly, safe, reliable, standardized, and efficient charging services during the 'May Day' period. At the same time, we will further promote the expansion and improvement of charging facilities around applications such as heavy-duty vehicle charging, in order to support the green and low-carbon transformation of transportation energy with a high-quality charging facility network."
