Guangxi Qinzhou initiates level 2 emergency response to severe weather disasters.

On April 27, the Qinzhou City Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters in Guangxi issued a notice. The meteorological department of Qinzhou City initiated a level two emergency response to major meteorological disasters at 8:00, and a level three flood control emergency response at 9:00. The flood control responsibility persons at the county, town, and village levels in the affected areas should be on duty to organize disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief work. Key areas such as prone to flooding, low-lying areas, and geological disaster sites should be intensively inspected, and measures should be taken for personnel evacuation and safety. Pre-positioning of drainage equipment and rescue forces should be done in advance.
