Chongqing Municipal Government's former advisor Feng Yi has been expelled from the party.

After investigation, Feng Yi has lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, and engaged in superstitious activities; he disregarded the spirit of the Central Committee's eight-point regulations, accepted banquets and travel arrangements that could potentially affect the fair execution of official duties; violated organizational principles by making personal decisions on major matters, not truthfully explaining issues when questioned by the organization, seeking personal gain and accepting bribes in job adjustments and employee recruitment; he breached the bottom line of integrity by accepting gifts and money, using his authority to benefit his spouse; privately retaining classified documents; his greed inflated, he used his position to benefit others in engineering contracting, business operations, personnel adjustments, and unlawfully accepted huge sums of money.
