Last year, Guangzhou Customs seized 9.704 million pieces of goods suspected of infringing on import and export rights.

According to Guangzhou Customs, in recent years, the customs has maintained a high-pressure crackdown on infringement activities in the import and export sector. In 2025, Guangzhou Customs lawfully seized and confiscated 4,158 batches of suspected infringing goods in import and export, involving 9.704 million pieces of goods. In the first quarter of 2026, Guangzhou Customs seized and confiscated a total of 457 batches of suspected infringing goods in import and export, involving 10.69 million pieces of goods.
