Jiangsu Province: In the first quarter, the GDP reached 3.45 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year.

On April 24th, the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Statistics and the National Bureau of Statistics Jiangsu Survey Office jointly released the "First Quarter Report" on the economic operation of Jiangsu in 2026. According to the unified accounting results of regional GDP, Jiangsu Province achieved a regional GDP of 3.4483 trillion yuan in the first quarter, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year in constant prices. Of this, the value added of the primary industry was 684.8 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8% year-on-year; the value added of the secondary industry was 14.021 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.7%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 19.772 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.2%.
