Gold futures in New York fell more than 3.2% this week.

On Friday, the New York spot market, the price of gold rose by 0.29% to $4707.77 per ounce, with a total decline of 2.52% for the week. The overall trend continues to be volatile in the range of $4833.21-4658.06. COMEX gold futures were roughly flat at $4723.80 per ounce, with a weekly decline of 3.23%.
