William Li of Nio: Every car manufacturer dreams of becoming Tesla, a model that conquers the world.

The 2026 Beijing Auto Show opened today. Following the NIO car unveiling, NIO founder and chairman Li Bin engaged in a dialogue with media outlets such as Sina Technology. When asked why NIO maintains its current pace of product updates, Li Bin explained, "From the company's perspective, every car company dreams of becoming Tesla, releasing the same model for years and dominating the market. But we still need to meet user needs. I think our current pace is appropriate, as the ES8 and L90 cater to different user requirements."
