Ministry of Commerce: Minister Wang Wentao meets with senior advisor Bo Mailun of the US Albrick Shi Qiao Group

On April 22, Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao met with senior advisor Bo Mailun from the U.S. Olbright Stonebridge Group. The two sides exchanged views on China-US economic and trade relations. Wang Wentao pointed out that the essence of China-US economic and trade relations is mutually beneficial and cooperation is the only correct path. Economic and trade relations should continue to be the ballast and propeller of China-US relations, rather than stumbling blocks and points of conflict. China is willing to maintain communication and dialogue with the United States, enhance consensus, reduce misunderstandings, and strengthen cooperation. Bo Mailun stated that healthy and stable development of US-China economic and trade relations is in the fundamental interests of the American business community, and expressed willingness to play a bridging role, promote dialogue and exchanges between U.S. states and Chinese provinces, and contribute to enhancing mutual trust and expanding the foundation of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation between the two countries.
