He Xiaopeng, Chairman of Xiaopeng Motors, stated in an interview that the company's advanced driving system has attracted attention from domestic automakers, component suppliers, and European companies. He said Xiaopeng Motors' intelligent driving solution is globally adaptable, easier to deploy, and safer. He Xiaopeng also mentioned that he plans to meet with Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume on Friday, and the cooperation between the two automakers over the past three years has been "progressing smoothly". Additionally, Xiaopeng Motors stated that demand for its cars overseas has exceeded expectations, especially in France and Germany, where sales have already surpassed local production capacity. The company plans to expand overseas production scale starting in 2026, including upgrading existing factories and building new ones in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Xiaopeng Motors also reiterated that with the expansion of technology monetization and overseas business scale, and the preparation to launch unmanned taxi and other AI-driven travel projects, the company is confident that its profitability will improve quarter by quarter this year.
