Shaanxi: The regional gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 4.0% year-on-year in the first quarter.

The Statistical Bureau of Shaanxi Province released data, according to the results of unified accounting of regional gross domestic product, in the first quarter, the province achieved a regional gross domestic product of 845.762 billion yuan, calculated at constant prices, an increase of 4.0% year-on-year. Looking at the three industries separately, the value added of the primary industry increased by 26.444 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%; the value added of the secondary industry increased by 332.953 billion yuan, an increase of 4.0%; and the value added of the tertiary industry increased by 486.365 billion yuan, an increase of 3.9%.
