On April 24th, according to reports, a statement in the financial report submitted by OMV New Zealand this week indicated that the company has informed the New Zealand government that the Maari gas field is expected to cease production by the end of 2026. The company added, "The specific timing may be brought forward or delayed depending on the production performance of the gas field in the later stages."
