The Israeli Ministry of Defense has purchased air-launched weapons worth over $200 million.

The Israeli Ministry of Defense announced on the 23rd that in order to enhance recent combat capabilities and address security challenges in the next decade, its Defense Procurement Agency has signed a multi-year contract worth over $200 million with Israeli company Elbit Systems for the purchase of air-launched weapons. Elbit Systems is one of the largest and most important defense companies in Israel and is a major supplier to the Israeli military.
