International oil prices rose significantly on the 22nd. As of the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for June delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $3.29 to $95.15 per barrel, an increase of 3.58%; the price of Brent crude oil futures for June delivery in London rose by $3.43 to $101.91 per barrel, an increase of 3.48%.
