Guangdong: Guiding the cluster development and intensive construction of smart computing centers, actively planning the provincial "smart computing pool".

The General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province has issued a notice on the issuance of the "Action Plan for Accelerating the High-Level Application of Artificial Intelligence in All Fields and Industries in Guangdong Province." The plan points out that in terms of strengthening computing power coordination, efforts will be made to accelerate the construction of national hub nodes in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, guide the cluster development and intensive construction of intelligent computing centers. The layout of edge computing nodes will be optimized, the level of coordination between computing and electricity will be enhanced, and a "smart network" of green cooperative computing power will be created. Efforts will be made to accelerate the construction and upgrade of the provincial-level computing power monitoring and dispatch platform, promote interconnection with platform in cities such as Shaoguan, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, explore unified measurement of computing resources, intelligent dispatch, and market-oriented trading models, optimize the matching of computing power supply and demand, and trading processes. The provincial-level policy of "computing power vouchers" will be introduced, supporting eligible cities to issue "computing power vouchers", actively planning for a provincial-level "Intelligent Computing Pool", and promoting cooperation between the province and cities to make intelligent computing power supply universally accessible, user-friendly, and economically efficient.
